Today was a beautiful day for an e-bike ride. So we decided to take Wally to the dog park.
It is always a good idea to check your bike over before any ride. In our case we checked the tires on our bikes and on the DoggyRide bike trailer, to make sure everything with properly inflated. This is particularly important on e-bikes as you will not only get the most comfortable ride, but also so your bike can take advantage of the best possible range.
Tire pressure varies depending on manufacturer and type of tires used, so I recommend you become familiar with the requirements for your e-bike and any trailers. We have a tire pump that allows us to mark the most frequently used pressures for quick reference. This is a big help.
Today I rode my prototype e-bike (http://evlife.ca/articles/public-transportation) with Electric Drive Wally in tow (http://evlife.ca/articles/electric-drive-wally). Julie rode her Styriette pedelec (http://evlife.ca/articles/it-was-blustery-day).
Wally loved riding with us, and loved playing at the dog park. And we all loved our electric drive experience. It was a lot of fun.
