Or how my neighbours work to warm up the climate faster!
Now that we are in the depths of winter, it reminds me again how much gasoline-powered vehicles contribute to air and noise pollution. It's particularly noticeable in the morning as, one-by-one, my neighbours head out to the driveway and start up their cars. Then they leave them running to "warm up" while they head back in for another cup of coffee, I surmise, as the rumble of engines spewing exhaust into the crisp morning air continues on for many long minutes.
If only they knew how convenient, quiet and environmentally responsible it is to pre-heat your EV while it's still plugged in snugly in the garage (or outside works, too, if that's where your charger is located.) No annoying rumbling or, best of all, no clouds of smelly exhaust announcing the start to an otherwise lovely winter day.
